About Eden Park Academy Carlisle
Staff, working in partnership with our pupils, have clear expectations and high aspirations for all. This promotes positive social, emotional, behavioural and academic outcomes. Our intensive support helps to develop the skills needed to succeed in society and become active citizens.
Our track record in engaging students in further education, training or employment, beyond the age of compulsory schooling, is excellent. An intensive focus supports our students to engage with independent learning and living, social skills and employability skills in order for them to develop as resilient young adults.
Eden Park Academy prides itself on encouraging the personal growth of its students through focused relational practice. We believe that relationship is the most important tool in supporting students to better understand their experiences, their world and their place in it.
Our school provides individualised education for a maximum of fourteen students aged 11-16 years. We are Department for Education registered Independent Schools, providing a ‘broad and balanced’ curriculum to pupils at Key Stage 3/ 4, through relationally rich practice.
Our pupils may be either diagnosed with or present:
- Statement of Educational Need/Educational Health Care Plan
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Challenging behaviour
