About Eden Park Academy Leeds
Eden Park Academy Leeds is currently adjudged as ‘Good’ by Ofsed for its provision of high-quality, personalised education for students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our success is based on an approach that combines high aspirational expectations with sensitivity to the needs of individual students.
Well-qualified and experienced staff work together to make our school a successful and happy community. We offer an educationally rich, varied and stimulating curriculum, which includes academic and vocational studies. Bespoke timetabling, supported by responsive pastoral intervention ensures our students exceed expected progress (Progression Guidance, 2010).
As a school, we strive to continually improve. The school supports a full range of National Curriculum topics for its learners, underpinned by a whole school approach to its students’ emotional well-being
Our school provides individualised education for a maximum of seventeen students aged 11-16 years. We are Department for Education registered Independent Schools, providing a ‘broad and balanced’ curriculum to pupils at Key Stage 3/4, through relationally rich practice.
Our pupils may be diagnosed with, or present:
- Statement of Educational Need/Educational Health Care Plan
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Challenging behaviour
- Attachment disorder
